World Peace Meditation for 6-15-22


We often hear the question, “How can I be at peace when there is so much crime, war, terror happening in the world?” This is an opportunity to spread the peace within to the entire world. Our exercise for this week is to watch the news on television (or over the internet) for 30 minutes every day. Before the program starts, sit quietly, take a deep breath, and repeat this prayer:


There is only one Life.

That Life is God’s Life.

That Life is PERFECT.

That Life is my life now.

That Life is all life now.


Then respond to each item/story, whether “good” news or not-so-good news, with a deep breath. As you breathe in, breathe in “One Life”; as you breathe out, breathe out “Peace”.


If you only do this once, you will have made a difference in the world, but if you choose to continue the practice, the effect will be cumulative and dramatic – even in your own life. Give it a try and watch your own level of peace and harmony expand.
