When the topic is world peace, we frequently hear the question, “What can

I do, I’m only one person?” and it stops us in our tracks. What we need to

understand is that peace is not something to DO, it is something to BE.

What we ARE speaks much more loudly than what we say, and since it

expresses what we believe, it determines what we experience in our lives.

So here’s the assignment for this week: let us make a commitment to BE

peace, to hold it in our heart of hearts and at the front of our attention and

then relax and observe our experience. How hard could it be? All we have

to do is release resentment, resistance, and fear, then all sense of

separation disappears and in the oneness that remains, only peace is

possible!

If this resonates with you, you might take 15-20 minutes to sit with this

assignment and try it on for size – it will fit, and the longer you wear it, the

more comfortable and natural it will feel.

   Love and blessings,

Rev. Dr. Sharri
